- I am a retired teacher and school library media specialist. I work full-time for Surpass Software, work with my husband, Austin, selling real estate in Bartow and Gordon Counties, and volunteer at my church. I have two beautiful and remarkable grand-daughters who own my heart! (and gbaby #3 is due in March) I am also a relatively new quilter. I began taking classes about six years ago and have been in love with quilting ever since.

How can I be behind already?
W ow...it's only the second week of the year and I have a list of projects as long as my arm. I guess the first quilt I need to get ready is one for Ashlee's baby...a boy I think...due around the middle of May. Then I believe Brandi's baby is due to arrive...don't know the gender yet. I suppose I will need to make one for big brother since I wasn't quilting when he came along. And then Karen's baby is due in August so that will be quilt #3 (or is that #4?) My daughter received an engagement ring on New Year's Day so that means I need to begin working on a wedding quilt. And of course, I need to plan quilts for my beginners quilting classes for the next few months. Did I mention I am behind with my projects?? I'll post pics and directions for all the projects I start this year. (Ha! Notice I didn't say projects I FINISH.)

ReplyDeleteGee...forgot about the quilt I am working on for my husband's birthday next month. I actually finished the quilt top to one of the baby gifts today.
